C+E (Class 1) HGV licence
HGV Class 1 training. £0 upfront.
Start your C+E training with nothing to pay upfront. The £3,500 course is paid for by a loan from our finance provider. Once you pass, you work for one of our partner hauliers and repay the loan over 12 months.
What you get
A licence and a job to go with it
Full C+E training
Your LGV medical, theory support, in-cab training on an articulated lorry, all DVSA test fees including Module 4, and one retest. Training is delivered by our partner training schools.
A full-time driving job
When you pass, you start as a Class 1 driver with one of our partner hauliers. Newly qualified drivers are welcome.
Support from start to finish
We help with your medical and DVLA forms, book your training and tests, and stay in touch until you are on the road.
The job
Earn up to £44,000 a year in your first year*
That figure includes basic pay, nights-out allowance and bonuses, so it depends on the hours you work and the bonuses you earn. It is not guaranteed.

This is a loan, not free training. Read these terms before you apply.

Who can apply
You can apply if you
- are aged 21 or over
- hold a full UK car licence (Category B)
- have the right to work in the UK
- can pass the LGV medical
- can commit to 12 months of full-time work with a partner haulier, including nights out
- pass the finance provider's affordability checks
