What we collect
When you use our contact or application forms, call or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, your answers to our eligibility questions and anything you choose to tell us in your message. If you go ahead with training, we also collect the details needed to arrange it, such as your driving licence details and test bookings.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, check whether you are eligible, arrange your training and tests, and, if you choose the £0 upfront route, introduce you to our partner hauliers. We do this because you have asked us to, or to take steps towards an agreement with you.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with our partner training schools, the partner haulier you will work for, and DVSA or DVLA where required. If you apply for finance, you deal directly with the finance provider, which collects and uses your information under its own privacy policy. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
If you do not go ahead with training, we delete your enquiry details within 12 months. If you train with us, we keep records for as long as needed to meet our legal and contractual obligations, normally up to 6 years after your training ends.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@kingpinhgvtraining.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
